WAP, creating a mobile style, and preventing computer browsers fro

I have a mobile friendly style prepared for my forum. I would like to create the subdomain wap.mysite.com for my mobile users but I don't want regular computer users to be able to access the skin.

I was thinking about modifying the htaccess file to prevent certain browsers from being able to gain access through the subdomain but my question is whether there is any way to prevent people from accessing the style in the drop down? Or is there some better way to force mobile users to use a specific style and computer users to use others?
