I have moved the who's online from bottom to top of forumhome no problem.
But I want it to display on all pages the same way. I have it in its own little table running across the top of the forums column, with its own tcat header. Don't know how to go further. I can't understand forumdisplay.php as there is no chunk of html where I can insert it. Like many others before me I've tried putting the chunk that displays beautifully on forumhome in the navbar. Code chunk won't show on any other pages. Clearly there's some code in forumhome's head that makes this work. But I haven't learned php yet (aiming for time this summer). All I know how to do it tweak templates w/o messing up the php. Can anyone suggest a way to put who's online on all pages? Adding the right head code to the navbar maybe? I know it can be done because there's a cms that puts who's online in a side col. Don't know how they do it but the side col is a <td> extension to navbar. |
