Changed "Message Area Width" then changed it back, now Editor is out of allignment.

I was trying to make the Editor section a bit bigger and following some advice on here I tried to change the "Message Area Width" in StyleVars. After trying just a slight increase, I noticed how it was out of place with the rest of the boxes on the page. So I reverted it back.

Now even when its reverted, its not going back into shape!



Notice the Post Icons is smaller than the editor

But on an old backup, its perfectly fine:




What I dont get is how on earth changing a setting, then straight away reverting it back in StyleVars seems to leave lasting effects?
and does anyone know a soloution

I'm using 3.6.8 Patch Level 2 with no modifications.
