Maybe you've installed this mod: https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=129306. Just disable it: AdminCp -> Plugins & Products -> Products -> GTSmilies -> Disable.

I would highly recommend using the mod triky linked to. I use it on all of my styles which ensures my vast variety of emoticons are neat and tidy without any breakage in the layout. Also ensure that you specify the row count otherwise the same kind of breaking can occur.
