We have upgraded like asked to the 3.6.8 patch level 2 when we did this and went to do the example.com/forums/install.upgrade.php to proceed with the upgrade when we did that somehow we got old info from an old board that we had in sept 2007 that we thought we lost, so we started a new one.
Now we want it gone, so we can have our new one back, any ideas? |

If you decide to use your 'new' database, you will have to go through the install process again. The install process adds some new tables and columns (usually).
I always do an upgrade on my test board first. Then, I export my mods and styles and go and upgrade my mainsite. After the upgrade on the main site, I import my styles and mods since I have already gone through and 'fixed' those for my board. |
