Hello,
I'm trying to figure out how to create a custom signature and have it automatically included on ALL of my auto-generated emails for my forums. I would like to have this signature stored as either a single variable or a single phrase, so if I ever want to modify it, I will only have to modify it once and it will change accordingly on all my auto-generated emails from my forums. I thought that I could do this by creating a new phrase, which I called 'email_signature'. Then I thought I could perform a phrase search and replace the salutation of each appropriate email phrase with '$vbphrase[email_signature]'. Regretfully this didn't work. I don't know if this is because you can't include a phrase within a phrase, or if my syntax is somehow incorrect. My thought is that this also could be accomplished as a variable, however I don't know how I would pre-define the variable to contain my custom signature. Can anyone please advise me on whether this is possible, and if so precisely how? Thanks for the help! Jeff |
