What would be the best/easiest way to have specific words and phrases automatically replaced -- for instance u -> you, r -> are, ur -> your.
It drives a number of people absolutely batty (myself included) and I'd like to use a censorship option that would replace those words automatically. Any suggestions or can you point me to a mod that might do this? I'd searched and didn't find what I was looking for (except for one mod that didn't work for me, but changed everything in all the posts to lowercase). Thanks for your help and suggestions. |

Did you try the Replacement Variables Option? You can do it by going to:
Admin CP --> Styles & Templates --> Style Manager --> All Style Options --> Replacement Variables |

yes, that makes the forum go nuts since even if I put the leading and following spaces after the u it repaces all u's throughoug the sit with "you" so it messes up the forum badly.
