Auto-Populate New Thread Title/Message Fields

I have RSS feads on my forumhome template. The rss feeds are seperated into category tabs that people can click through to see the feeds. Each feed is pulled from it's source and put inserted into a database.

Is there a way to code a link that will start a new thread and populate the title and message field with the title and description from the news feed?

ie...

  vbPostTitle = rssItemTitle
vbPostMessage = rssItemDescription
