vertical spacing issue in IE

I've recently changed my footer a bit and it doesn't display correctly in IE, even though the code seems ok at first sight, there's about 20px of vertical spacing between the footer and content above it, in FF it looks fine.. (check enjoycg.com/forums) to see what's happening. Also, this is part of the code near the footer:
