Hello,
Is there an easy way to add a "links" section to my forums? I would like to have a couple of defined groups of links: Sponsor Links: Friends Links: Etc..... where I can list links to outside sites. How can I incorporate this into the design of my forums? Thanks! Jeff |

Hello Dismounted,
Thanks for your reply! I found that instructional last night about creating a new page, but I was wondering if there was a way to incorporate a box with links in it, into the design of my existing home page, or possibly every page as a recurring element. I know that I've seen some designs where there is a box of links on each page, but I don't know how they do it. I guess I'm thinking of something like the HOME page for these forums, where there are separate boxes on the left side, with different content. This also could be a box at the bottom of the page instead of in the left column. Is there a way for me to add this element to my template? Thanks! Jeff |

That's pretty cool! But I was more just refering to a text list. From looking at your site, it looks like vBadvanced is what I need. Any thoughts?
Thanks! |

I have done it, its quite simple.
I have added 2 boxes. You add HTML to your forumhome.php file. ![]() |

That's more what I had in mind Mr. Failure.
Either a box accross the bottom, or a separate left column with a link box and then possibly other navigation in the column above or below it. The sample that I like the best is simply this website. How there are two separate columns. There is the body of the page on the right, and there are several element boxes to the left, which can include links as well as add other functionality to the site. How did they create this? Thanks! |
