Is there a way to Modify the Thead Post TIME?

Is there any way to modify the post time of a thread, to change the viewing order of my sticky's?

I like to sort (list/display) my sticky's in a particular order, and if I create a new one it goes to the top of the list, and I typically don't want it at the top of the list. I know that I can repost all of them so that they will be in the order that I like, but is there a simpler way to select what order they are in, like by changing the TIME of the initial thread?
