I want to create a usergroup that is allowed to edit someone else's posts, without making the usergroup Moderators. Is there any way to do this?
I know I can add someone to a forum as a moderator and just grant that one mod permission, but this still classifies them as moderators, and it's also a really tedious process. (This is for a game, in case you're wondering why I'd want to do such a crazy thing.) Thanks for your time. ![]() |

Just create a new usergroup, and assign them different permissions.

Thanks for your reply!
![]() I don't see an option on the new-usergroup form for 'may edit someone else's post.' It's just a list of what they can do with their own posts. Am I not looking in the right place? |

Thanks! But. These are the only options I see in forum permissions: there's nothing in either usergroups or forum permissions giving me the choice to let people edit someone else's post.
