Adding New Fields to Registration

I want to add new fields to registration and control where the inserts are sent to.
Rather than have vb handle them I want them to be sent a place of my choosing.

For example choosing the user Sex, I want to be sent to the user table under the column 'Sex' =p

Would be cool if there was an addon for this already, at least some way to do it without hard coding it... I had all this stuff made before but I overwrote it with other stuff... upsetting I know lol
