Should I post this as a new mod?

Here is my situation.

I currently have a [How to] get a working Guild/Clan Roster template mod.

I've redesigned it with an installer XML file that alters the usergroup table for permission control, adds all the templates from the above original, adds a plugin, and adds a few phrases. A lot of the code in my showroster.php file is from the showgroup.php, but with many changes.

My question is, should I just go and update my original template mod or should I create a new Add-on mod for this? I apologize if this is a stupid question, but I'm still new to mod creation here and I didn't want to do something wrong.
