I'm trying to make posts that has some tutorials on sig usage etc on my forums and when I put the code I want within the [ CODE ] (spaces intentional) I can only enter in the opening code within that or else it completes the code if I enter in the close tag as well.
Example - when I type Code:
[img]img url here[/img] Code:
[img]img url here Does anyone know how to get ALL of the code to work within the CODE tags? I'm on vB 3.6.5 |

[ noparse ] is your friend.
![]() [code]codeblock goes here[/code] |

Doesn't that pretty much defeat the purpose of the code block to begin with? I had higher hopes for vB then such a seemingly rookie mistake.
Anyone care to tell me how I can add the noparse to the default [code ] tags? I know its not "officially" supported but I would like to know how to have the noparse added to the default code tag or how I can add an icon for the default noparse bbcode tag like the icon in the reply box for the [code ] tag. Anyone care to help? I've read many similar posts to mine and no one has ever stepped up to help provide a real solution. |
