I bought a wireless keyboard/mouse during spring break, and while that is all fine and dandy, I found that the wireless aspect of it stunk. The mouse would randomly work very poorly, and they keyboard would often not work. Pressing a button would also cause it to hold it down randomly. Anyway, that is all history now lol.
When I was waking up this morning my nephew was smashing the keyboard with a clotheshanger :S. The spacebar came off, and I am unable to fix it at this point. I am a little happy (except for having to buy new stuff), because that keyboard was really starting to bug me... Do any of you wireless kb/mice owners have any troubles? |

I have a wireless mini-mouse for my notebook, but I never use it anymore.
The connection was sometimes bad and having a dead mouse battery always sucked. |

I have a logitech wireless kb and mouse as well, the Cordless Desktop Optical.
The kb works damn well actually XD Batteries last ages. Mouse however, sucks balls. Batteries last 2wks max, without rechargeables Id be broke. Mouse also likes to randomly not work properly, namely when Im drag-marking code, it will either move the code as if I drag-dropped it, or lose its "hold" and start from where it lost the hold. Not cool. |

I had a wireless set a while back. I think it was a mircosoft one. It sucked big time. The connection was poor and after only a few weeks I gave up and went back to my wired ones.
I have a wireless mouse for the lappy too, but I never use it for the same reason. |

I have an older Microsoft IntelliMouse and I love it. I will never go back to a corded mouse again!
The only trouble I have with mine is when the batteries start getting low on juice. But that is fixed soon after it starts acting up. The mouse comes with software that will tell you when the juice is getting low before you start having problems, but I don't use it. ![]() I still use an old keyboard, have not made the jump to usb on that end yet (mainly because I'd rather keep as many usb ports open as possible). The cord on it does not bother me as I don't move it around much anyway. |
