Need help

Hi!

I Need a little bit of help here. I'm trying to modify vbulletin threads to include a few more fields. So, to do that, I've created another table which adds the additional fields. So I was wondering if anyone could give me some help on how to add the new information into the table, and how to use the extra information in the forumdisplay page and showthread page. The problem is how to communicate with Mysql in the best way, without having to modify the files forumdisplay.php, showthread.php and newthread.php. This because the settings should only affect one of the forums.
