Did a search, couldn't seem to find an answer. Then I asked over at the vBulletin.com forum, and was advised it may be a code modification...
Is it possible to allow a member to edit a message they have posted (up until the usual admin selected time limit), until another post appears in that thread? I couldn't immediately see an adminCP option to do this, and wonder if it possibly requires custom code. Any advice / thoughts on this? Has anyone implemented such a system? Also, if such a system was in place, the original poster could be in the middle of editing their message, when another member starts a reply (maybe quoting that previous message) so a situation could arise with the earlier post showing different content than previously, and also a reply being posted as well. |
