Is there a mod that allows members to create an email address during registration?
So that when a guest comes to the site and wants to create a new account they are then able to also create an email account like: newmember@myforum.com Or has this never been done? |

Never been done. it would vary from server to server as the functions to create them change from Control Panel to control panel.

yes it would.
cPanel provides a API so that this can be done, but i wouldnt have the sightest clue of where to begin. For now, though it'll be hard. you can always create a custom profile field, and have it ask at registration if they'd like their email address to be. Then go set them up by hand |

It'd vary from each control panel, but I think I could do one for cPanel. I'll have a think about it.
I reckon this should be a paid request ![]() |
