where can i get a top ten statistics code for 3.6.2?

or something similar that will display new posts underneath the navbar?

also, when you click on new post (on navbar) they are not highlighted or bolded to differentiate them old post? is this something i need to adjust in the admin cp?

thanks in advance for any help with these issues.
