Group,
This is really weird... If I view a member profile as a user who is in the default user group after your email is verified (Using this for trial membership and have an additional user group created), the "Additional Information" and the "Group Memberships" as well as the part that says "user is not a member of any public groups" does not show up correctly. But if i view the profile as the other than that user group it shows up just fine. What I mean by incorrect is that the letting does not show up as bold text like the other areas, instead it shows up as a fine tan text. Also its got the "user is not a member of any public groups" showing down under the additional information content in the lower left column instead of over in the right hand column. Its almost as if the code is being effected somehow by something. It seems to only be affecting this one user group when viewing a members profile. Anyone know what might be causing this or maybe some areas or templates to look at? I have attached some screen shots to try and help show this. Doug |

I need to make a correction, doing a little more checking on this.
It affects ALL user groups, EXCEPT for the administrators user group. Anyone being a member of the administrators user group everything shows up just fine. Doug |

You must have edited your memberinfo template, try a default style or revert the template.

Paul,
Thanks for the reply. Yes I did add a hack that hides post count information but I dont beleive theres anything else I had done to that template. I tried changing it back to how it was but i didnt notice a difference unless the page was cached or something. Doug |

Here are some better screen shots showing the differences.
Shows is when you are in the admin user group, viewing someones profile. Doesnt show is when you are in other than the admin user group viewing someones profile. Doug |

Paul,
I reverted just the member info template and it cleared up the problem. Thank you! I have attached a copy of the hack to hide the post counts within the member profile from everyone except the administrator user group. If this code is not correct for the current version of VB 3.6.2 that I am running, what code can I use with this template that will not affect my display like it just did? I have attached the code i was using to this reply... I have not reverted the template yet for the first part of this hack as that part seems to be ok. Thanks Doug |
