Hello all. Thought I take a shot at asking this here. Perhaps someone can help me out
![]() I currently have a phpbb2 board installed already, and are in the process in switching to vB. Anyhow, attachments are really giving me a headache. I have files up to 30mb on my server (I will switch to a secondary server soon to leviate some bw), and encountering the strangest issue, as the vB board blatantly denies me to attach them. Here is what I have done so far: a) Changed the max packet size in php.ini to 100M b) Changed the max.allowed.packet in my.cnf to 100M c) did the debug thing, and told vB to store files on the disk, as per the instructions above STILL, it wont let me. Opera just gives me an error page that the page couldnt be displayed (been down that road before, and that means the server denies my upload), and internet imploder just freezes. Anyone have a solution to this? This is very mind boggling. Please help! Also, to be confirming that the settings are in order, here is the data from the front page of admincp: Server Type Linux Web Server Apache v2.0.54 PHP 4.3.10-16 PHP Max Post Size 100.00 MB PHP Maximum Upload Size 100.00 MB PHP Memory Limit 32.00 MB MySQL Version 4.0.24_Debian-10sarge2-log MySQL Packet Size 100.00 MB PHP has not safe mode activated (as checked in php.ini), so thats not the issue with this either. I am totally baffled by this. Any help is appreciated ![]() Tommy |
