a noob question...

I just uploaded the script on my server and want to add different forums..I cannot seem to make a parent forum ..site is http://affiliatelink.org/
the only forum is welcome..i want a seperate cat for different things

When you make forums you can choose if it should be a "Child Forum" or not. If you want it to act like a child forum you need to set it's "Parent Forum".

Yea,i got that part.What i cant figure out is to have catagory's that are seperated..ie

When you edit/add a forum you cans elect whether it acts as a forum or not.
The option is called "Act as a forum".
If you set it to "No" it will be a category.
If you want to add a subforum for the category, simple create/edit a forum and set the category as a parent forum.
