This is something that I've been trying to change for ages.
When you hover over a thumbnail on a post, after a few seconds a small amount of 'alternate text' appears with a brief description of the contents saying "Click image for larger version" How do I change the wording? Also, having clicked on the thumbnail it opens out to a larger image. If you right-click on the mouse and then click on properties some default alternate text appears which says "The image ?http://www.talkmini.com/mini_forum/a...achmentid=200? cannot be displayed, because it contains errors." How do I change the wording? For information, the alternate text on an image is used by the search engines because they can't view the contents of the image and rely on the alternate text for the necessary information which as you can see isn't very useful! I've looked in 'phrases' and done a word search in styles to no avail, have looked at several pages of code in the vBulletin styles --- and have even (shock horror!!!), read the vBulletin manual for the 1st time in my life - lol Does anyone on here know where these relevant 'alternate text' bits are hidden in all the vBulletin pages and coding??? Any help much appreciated ![]() |
