I have just added some more smilies on my forum but they seem to be very tempermental is there some cron job that updates them or do i have to rebuild something? by tempremental i mean if you put it in it will work but then if you come back on view the post sometimes they will be there and sometimes they won't.

No. They rebuild auto. Thats what Happened on mine

Also on a note i did do it by manually entering queries into the database because vB was telling me that there was no more smilies to add. All the pcitures work and you can add them to your post fine but when it comes to viewing the post it just doesn't parse them. RC2 bug?

Adding smilies has nothing to do with cron jobs, they are just added in real time.

i thought it might of had something to do with the clean up tasks.
