multiple fields in a profile field

Is it possible to have multiple form fields within a profile field?
For example the 'Date of Birth' section in the edit profile page, it has many list menus and a text field as well.
So is there a way you can do this in the additional information section??

When you create a custom profile field (via the manager in the acp) it gives you the option of which section it should appear in.

Thats not what i was really asking.
I want to know if you can have for example, a Single-Line Text Box and a Multiple-Selection Checkbox field type within one Title / Profile Field Type.

So for instance in Location profile field, can i add another single-line text box next to it?

I don't think you can do this normally but is there a modication/hack way to do this?
