Style for "Displaying latest threads"

Hi guys, I was just helped to display latest threads in my home index page.
I was wondering if you guys can help modifing the looks of it, which looks like this.

It's all blurry.. you could make the text sharper..

No, seriously.. I think it looks really nice.

Perhaps make the Titles a bit bigger? Put the User's Avatar in the post body?

ah Kall, it's not what I have. It's just a sample. It's how mine should look like.. not exactly the same but similar.

can you help? I heard that i need to edit the js javascript but i have no idea.

Could it have been RSS? There is a .js version of that.. (the default External Data Provider option in vBoptions).

and it's plain txts, looking ugly.

Yeah, that's the .js feed of your External Data Provider.

Have you considered using www.vbadvanced.com ?

The free one.

It is a Portal of sorts.. I don't know if that's exactly what you want, have a look at http://www.nzboards.com/newzealand-portal.html for an example on my site.

nice site kall. however I just want to display "latest posts/threads" within tables, and I want to be able to edit the colour of the title or bold the title. I want to make it look better than just original normal plain txts.

so there is no other way to do this other than installing the portal thing? is it easy to install by myself?

Well yes.. I am sure it is possible to (for example) add a div class to the Heading and Body.. you might want to try posing in the Request a Modification (Unpaid) forum.
