I am currently re-designing my forums as i have gained new sponsorship, looking at the new design something looks odd and i cant quite figure out what. Any feedback would be great.

I would agree with all of the above. The "D" images don't look great and definetaely don't compliment the style. The lastpost and collapsable icons don't suit very well either.

Apart from that it's a nice style.

I've just submitted a set of forum status icons into the .org graphic database. Whether they suit is another story.
