Registration from separate form for vbulletin

I need to do a simple INSERT from a different sign-up page just the minimum required info to register a user for the forum. I do not know what the table names and columns are or I would attempt myself. Basically I have a registration from a portal system, and I would like to automatically register these people to the forum at that sign-up without forwarding them to the forum through register.htm. The goal is to make their username and password for my portal sign-ups syncronized with vbulletin sign-ups. Please help, thanks.
