Okay well im not sure if its stable enough for production enviroment, are any of you using it as your main board?
Im also wondering if I can install it for testing purposes as long as I use .htacess and disable registrations?

1). If you don't mind installing updates as they are released and dealing with possible bugs, you can use it in a production environment.

2). You are permitted under the license agreement to have a test board installed for development and basic testing. Simply password protect the directory and do not allow public access

Depends on how important your board is, but like SaintDog said, you'll have lots of updates and template reverts which will be time consuming and redundant after a point.

I'll never use a beta or even RC on a live test board again

But lots of people do it without problems

I upgraded mine. It's great. But you won't have a CMPS. And some bugs.
