Default Weird Skin Prollem!
Hi guys,

I uploaded the Zebra skin onto my forum just yesterday...

And it shows up great for me on my computer...

But all my members and friends are still seeing the default skin

Ive got the 'zebra' box ticked in the styles and templates section...

Could anyone help me?! this maybe a silly little thing ive missed, sorry if it is! but im new to the whole vBulletin, we all started somewhere huh!?

Any help would be much appreciated!

If you want it to be the default skin go to Admincp >> Style & Language Setting >> Default Style and change it

no, no...

sorry maybe i explained it poorly!

I want the Zebra skin... and when i look at the forum its on and i like it...

But when others go to the forum, they are still seeing the default skin... i dont know what it is...

ive got the zebra box ticked and higher up in the 'display order' and ive made the guys i ask to refresh about 100 times still nothing!

Another thing to mention is...

Becuase im new i have a good friend helping me out with the admin etc... and i told him i uploaded the skin and he said he couldnt see it... so i let him login to my admin and take a look at it, he said he'd done it, but again, it works for him but nobody else!?

kind of confused now!

p.s. the gap in the default skin was my attempt to get the deep google adsense... i got one little bit working but the big gaps are where it didnt come off so well!

Im not allowed to deleate the default skin am i?!

If i can how, becuase it says i cant for some reason... and if i did manage to deleate it would be easy enough to get it back say if something went wrong!?

From what i can read, you have to select the default skin zebra like gio~logist said and then you will be able to delete the default if you wish.

well confused i have the zebra skin box ticked, and when i click on its name it shows up, which is what i want, which is great, and the default is not ticked, the forum is right for me but its still the default for everyone else!

I tried deleating the default skin while having the zebra one ticked and it said

'The default style set within the vBulletin Options can not be deleted. Please change this before attempting to delete the style.'

i dont get why it works me and my friend who have been through admin but not anybody else!

Yes, you have to go into Admincp >> Style & Language Setting >> Default Style and change it to Zebra. Then you will be able to delete the default

omg... just done it...

and i dont feel the slightest embarrassed!!!!

Really sorry guys, but thank you very much for your help! absolutly love this place! i sit here all day reading the addons and hacks... if only i could do them haha!

I am having a similar (probably the same problem) but there isn't a "Style & Language Setting" in AdminCP. Style and languages are separate from each other. I have (vBulletin 3.5.4) FWIW.

Never mind, I found another thread with the answer.
