If I currently have 3.0.7 and am looking to upgrade to 3.5.4, what is the best way to go about this upgrade? I understand we're dealing with an entirely new system? Hooks? Is this system gonna stay like this because of easibility, even for future versions to come? Am I better off upgrading because of the cool interesting hacks that noone is even bothering anymore with 3.0.* series?
With all that said, would I just create a new database from scratch, recreate all my styles, redo all my hacks, import all my users, threads, etc? Im guessing this would be the case cuz I have plenty of hacks installed that arnt upgradable. This sounds like a disaster. |

Theres no way I could uninstall the old mods. I have over 25, and not even the original files anymore, etc. I think that would be the worse in my case. Sux..
