I've just recently set up my vB forum and I require all new members to validate their email address. They must also be manually approved by an administrator based on info they provide in a brief bio.
Currently it looks like I'm getting the new user email immediately after they complete the registration form, because most of the time when I go to the admin panel to approve them it says there are 0 Users to Moderate. So then I have to remember to keep going back and checking to see if they are ready to be approved. Sometimes it takes them a few minutes, sometimes a day, sometimes never. It would be nice if there was a way to change the timing of this email so I didn't get it until they have validated their email address and they are in the "Users to Moderate" queue. That's how my old Ikonboard used to work. I asked at vB.com and they suggested I try here, but my search has turned up nothing. Is there any way to do this? Thanks, Andrew |
