I'm trying to create, if possible, a BB code that uses the send message.php?do=mailmember&u=X
I want to know if there is a way to get the user Id, such as $userinfo[userid] to make a BB code replacement like: <a href=^http://www.bbdsms.com/forums/sendmessage.php?do=mailmember&u=$userinfo[userid]^>{param}</a> (took out the quotes so its not really a link) using a BB code tag called [p_email] so the user writes in a message [p_email]email me[\p_email]. With their userid being insterted into the forum message to be emailed. The reader clicks on "email Me" and is taken to sendmessage.php to email the writter. Actually, the real use will be in the calendar when someone makes an event and they want rsvps mailed to them. And I sure hope that makes sense. Any ideas? |
