Just looked on my ftp as doing a backup before upgrade to the latest vBulletin and found some really random files. I have provided a screenshot below and hopefully somebody can shed some light as to what they are as I have no idea...

I don't know what they are, but they look like some randomn temporary files of some kind.

I think you can remove them without problems.
