I am so hesitating if I should install vB Shout on my boards...

I have installed it before, then took it off because it took away all the activity of my forums, but now I am hesitating if I should put it back, as I have a totally new set of users...

Maybe you guys can help me decide?

Personally, I don't believe in them. I think they pull traffic from the forums.

yeah, but I am hesitating though, because some of my new members(alot) are from myspace, and they have no idea how to get around the site, maybe installing a shoutbox would help?
