I have obviously removed the drop down menu for users in my postbit whilst editing templates!!Which template is it i have edited wrong?And what should the code look like for the drop down menu?

This will be your postbit (or postbit_legacy) template, unless other dropdowns do not work on your site, in which case it could be the navbar.
