PM to Admin after xx posts ?

Hi,

I'm sick of getting pm's from newly registered members, I'd rather they ask the questions on the forum. Is there a hack for this or do I just use user promotions ?

Just use user promotions to set a level at which they are able to access the PM functionality. eg, Registered Members (usergroupid = 2) has PM's disabled & Established Users (or whatever you want to call it) is a new usergroup that they are promoted to after x posts (5 or 10 sounds good to me).

Yeah, you'll need to create a new one then make sure all the permissions are correct in the usergroup manager and forum permissions pages.
