I have some mods like Vbookie, Arcade, VBAdvance. And I noticed 3.5.2 has a lot of files you have to replace. What's the best method of upgrading to 3.5.2 and spending the least time to getting all the mods to work again?
If there is no way around it, don't mind if I have to copy and paste all the code from the mods into the files again but will the upgrade mess up any of the backend data for these mods? |

upgrading in the 3.5 series is as simple as uploading the new files and running the install script. the only one that you will need to redo the file edits for is you vbadvanced. you may also need to redo the index.php edit for the arcade depending on which version of which arcade you are running.

Best use Araxis Merge: Do a 3 way compare: left original 3.5.1, center your moded 3.5.1 and right your 3.5.2 files -> move all "left <-> center deltas" to the right. Upload you new 3.5.2 files to the server and run upload script.
