my HD just crashed yesterday. my forums were completed 99%.
i lost everything the work of one month of hard coding...

never buy a maxtor hd. i had twice the same prob with them.

Part of the reason why I have 2 hard disks on my computer, one for running programs, the other for backup.

That sucks, if it was jsut your o/s, then you can put your HD as a slave, and buy another harddrive put that as master, install the new O/S on the new harddrive, and move everything from your maxtor slave to this one, but if that is not the case, sorry
