So, I suppose we are in the transition of calling these modifications now instead of hacks? Probably due to the fact that newbies consider hacks to be dangerous, and relate it to someone destroying personal data on a computer, etc. and we want to appear more user-friendly?
Just curious. I'm an old-timer around here, but haven't been around in a while (due to me being busy, life, and all.)
the word hack has been used for a very long time here and I don't think it would be changed, newbies don't understand newbies ask and newbies will know.
I used 'mods' when I was with IB, I came to vb and I use 'hack'
From this moment forward - all my hacks/mods will only be refered to as Macks. That is until the plug in concept goes live. Then I guess I can do Mug-ins or Hug-ins.
Then we can have Hugins of the month where the winner gets a pair of nappies.
