functions and possibly preg_x troubles

look at my attached file, does anyone know y it doesnt work cause when the sql query is run using $msginsert it inserts nothing>_< so can someone please explain why it doesnt work

this is for vb3 and it isnt a released hack, its custom

Tried echoing $msginsert before its returned to see if it outputs anything? That could help you decide what bit is going wrong. I dunno a fix though, sorry.
