Good day to you all.

I am wanting know how to change the color of the words "Announcement" and "Sticky."

Sorry if this seems to be such a simple question.

You could edit phrase sticky_thread_prefix and add <span> tags around it to set the color. I'm not sure where "Announcement" appears - I was thinking in the same place but I guess you mean somewhere else.
