Help with an RPG

Hi! I just want to create a very simple RPG for my forum. All of the hacks I've found are outdated, or over complex or both. Basically, here's what I need:

- I want my users to be able to have a character on their account. Basically, if I had a username called 1, I'd want my username to show up as 2 in just the RPG forum.

- I'd also like the user to have a different avatar in the RPG, as well as a different sig.

That's pretty much it, really. Can anyone tell me how to do this?
