Click "manage" and "undelete"
And what do you mean, "exactly what happened". A mod deleted it. It should tell you who did it. If not, check the moderator log. |

My threads aren't showing up as soft deleted. It does show what was deleted in the admin panel.
Does this mean I can't get the threads back? I had 1,000's and 1,000's of posts. The super mod who did this says he didn't do it? Is it possible that someone else did it? 13778 tjbdlmn 12:15, 12th May 2009 Thread Removed Thread: [Crowd confronts police making shoplifting arrest] Forum: [**** OFF AIR ****] 66.197.149.15 13779 tjbdlmn 12:15, 12th May 2009 Thread Removed Thread: [SHOW PREP - Tuesday May 12th] Forum: [**** OFF AIR ****] 66.197.149.15 13780 tjbdlmn 12:15, 12th May 2009 Thread Removed Thread: [Marital Status] Forum: [OUR FORUM CENSUS] 66.197.149.15 13781 tjbdlmn 12:15, 12th May 2009 Thread Removed Thread: [Kate Gosselin is ++++ing someone now.] Forum: [Entertainment] 66.197.149.15 13782 tjbdlmn 12:15, 12th May 2009 Thread Removed Thread: [How many kids do you have?] Forum: [OUR FORUM CENSUS] 66.197.149.15 13783 tjbdlmn 12:15, 12th May 2009 Thread Removed Thread: [Jailbreak.] Forum: [Online games] 66.197.149.15 13784 tjbdlmn 12:15, 12th May 2009 Thread Removed Thread: [Ranking the best/worst owners in sports.] Forum: [Sports] 66.197.149.15 13785 tjbdlmn 12:15, 12th May 2009 Thread Removed Thread: [Celeb'd OUT!] Forum: [The FLAME Thrower] 66.197.149.15 13786 tjbdlmn 12:15, 12th May 2009 Thread Removed Thread: [Thought for the day from Maxine's sister!] Forum: [**** OFF AIR ****] 66.197.149.15 13787 tjbdlmn 12:15, 12th May 2009 Thread Removed Thread: [Some NFSW] Forum: [Video] 66.197.149.15 13788 tjbdlmn 12:15, 12th May 2009 Thread Removed Thread: [NEW MOD - BONES] Forum: [Forum News & Announcements] 66.197.149.15 13776 tjbdlmn 12:15, 12th May 2009 Thread Removed Thread: [Kramer how is it that these headphones don't break?] Forum: [**** OFF AIR ****] 66.197.149.15 |

If you don't see a "deleted notice" where the thread used to be, then he didn't soft-delete it. He did a "Physically remove" deletion. As far as I know, it means they're gone unless you have a back up and upload it.
And if the log says he did it, then he did it. And you might want to delete those IP addresses from your post... I don't know if VB.org has any rules about it or not. |

If you go to User CP > Moderation > Deleted Items > dropdown to Threads or Posts, you will see all the soft-deleted posts and threads. You may select them there and make them visible again.
Check the IP on the actions in the Moderator Log. See if it's the same IP your moderator usually uses. If not, tell him his account has been compromised and have him reset his password. |

Then it probably wasn't soft-deleted.

You'll need to use a backup to restore the threads then.
