Users recieving PM's that aren't for them.

I have a client that is experiencing some unusual behavior with the pm system. They have some users that are receiving pm's that aren't to them. I don't have much more information than that at the moment but I am working on getting more. Just wanted to post and see if anyone has ever had this problem. I did do many searches but all I really came up with are mods and questions for administrators reading pm's. If anyone has any incite to this I would love to hear it.
