Hello

Sometimes as I am looking at my user list I see some users with this as a status

Modifying Contact or Ignore List

Does this mean that they are ignoring someone or maybe adding someone as a friend?

Is there any way to turn this off?

Do you want to disable the phrase or disable the feature?

You can turn Friends off in the User Profile Options, not sure about ignoring people.
