Allowing users to hide/show post counts?

Is this possible? Or a mod that can do it?

Some of my users want to see post counts, as I have them hidden for now (commented out). But some of the users don't want the postcounts shown..
The ones that post the most don't want to know/see/show how much they post I think..

So having them 'off' by default and an option for the user to turn them on would be ideal I think.
