how to limitate users control panel? Please Help Meeeeeeeeee

Hi guys,

I've got a very tedious problem,

I'm working for a website about with videogames and entirely developed with Drupal. I've integrated Vbullettin forum using the Drupal's module Vb. By this module, the users logged in on the main website are logged in the forum too. The problem rises when a user, logged on the website (and so in the forum too), changes some parameters, using the control panel of Vbullettin, like "mail" or "password".

By this moment the system begins to have some problems. If a user changes the parameters using the control panel of Drupal they are changed in the forum too. If a user changes the same parameters using the control panel of the forum they don't affect Drupal: this creates a lot of problems, first of all the missing authentication or I've to delete the user's account and to create a new account.

In VBullettin I've changed the links of registration and passord recovery, linking them directly to Drupal: the control panel of the forum remains active so the user can change everything about mail or password. Is there any kind of opportunity of blocking the change of these values on VBullettin?
