new user group getting wrong theme

I just created a new user group for a few of our members that are part of our team. I've got VBulletin style options set so users can't change their theme. Only users that I've made a member of this group get the non-default theme. Let me clarify. My forum default theme is NOT the vbulletin default, but I have the settings such that users get the one I have set for default and cannot change it.

If I edit one of their profiles, the style says "use forum default" but it just isn't doing it. I've even tried changing the style in the account to the one that is supposed to be loading and it still doesn't load.

Have I missed something on creating the usergroup that is not giving them the theme I have set as default?
